Hardy Hooves Barefoot/ Equicentral Yard

Small and friendly barefoot track/ Equicentral livery yard on the Rutland/East Leicestershire border. 

Two tracks available:

1. Grass track April to November; equicentral November to April. 

2. Virtually grass free track April – November; smaller surfaced grass free track November to April

Depending on your horses need, you would go onto either option 1 or option 2 but not interchange.

On both systems, all horses have the freedom to roam 24/7, 365 days a year. Free access to shelter, scratch posts, automatic water trough, climbing mounds, sandpits, woodchip rolling areas and hardstanding areas. Life at Hardy Hooves is ideal for those struggling to cope with laminitis, ems and other grass related & exacerbated conditions (option 2) and/or those just benefitting from greater movement, natural physio and a more natural lifestyle with freedom, forage and friends always at hand. 

A mixture of ridden, walked out in hand and retired horses currently reside. Max 5 in each herd. Owners live on site with cctv. Adlib forage/hay provided 365 days a year. Grass school available spring and summer. Fabulous off road hacking on our doorstep. 

Assisted DIY packages available requiring just one visit a day either am or pm depending on the space available at time of enquiry. Requires one full yard barrow of poo picking, sharing in the distribution of hay, keeping hard standing areas clean and free from loose hay, mud and debris and occassional cleaning of water troughs.

Prices start at £240 pcm on the grass track.
