South Wonston Farm is a quiet, friendly and professional livery yard in Hampshire, catering for all disciplines.

The livery yard is on our farm, only 5 miles from the centre of Winchester. We offer a selection of livery packages, including backing and re-schooling.  Horses kept here vary from hacks, to dressage horses, eventers, showjumpers, polo ponies and hunters.

We have just built a brand new stable block with state of the art technology to greatly enhance our livery offering. Horses are cared for every day, all year round. Our three grooms are extremely experienced. Head girl Glea Laanisto gets outstanding results using a blend of natural horsemanship, an innate understanding of how the horse is feeling, and a bit of old fashioned common sense.

I moved my horse to South Wonston Farm after 8 weeks of retraining last summer. Owner and Head Girl really understood the challenges and with working full time I have full livery with 5 days exercising and my ‘problem’ horse has now been out competing successfully at BD. My Irish cob has been rebacked, produced and competed by professional rider/ head girl who is at the heart of this successful transformation from problem youngster to a very settled and happy horse. Professional livery at South Wonston Farm provides the best environment with long turnout, professional feeding regime with Pure Feed Company, access to fabulous hacking, pro lessons in all disciplines, SJ & XC jumps, white boards and a very large arena which is fully lit for evening exercising. A brand new stable block with state of the art eco flooring which is both flexible and elastic making this very comfortable for horses. The owner and staff are extremely accommodating and knowledgable and I have made some truly lovely new friends who I look forward to seeing every weekend.

Great facilities, lovely approachable people and good calm atmosphere. This is very much a yard where you can manage your horse but there is help on hand if you need it. Good philosophy and ethos of horses being horses, so a lot of regular turn out in relaxed countryside surroundings.

I have been at South Wonston Farm for about 5 years and I love the yard. Great facilities, amazing hacking without having to ride to ride on roads. The horses are very well cared for and the our Head Girl is simply the best. There are a number of xcountry places nearby and a lot of BD and BS competition places within an hours drive. Sparsholt is only 15 mins away.We regularly have guest instructors giving lessons on the yard.But best of all are the other liveries. We are truly one big happy group of women and men who love their horses.
