Part, Full & Schooling Livery available. Packages to suit all. For an established rider or a beginner looking for help and support.

5 Days (Monday-Friday) with additional weekends if required

This space would suit a person, looking for a small yard, where the school is often available, competitive prices and is very quiet & private.

Small, friendly, private yard has a rare opportunity available. We offer a variety of different services, including clipping, BHSAI instructor on site for schooling and lessons. Can be on site for vets /farriers and much more.

Individual turnout, 24/7 turn out in the summer and all year turn, daily in the winter months . 28×40, carpet gallop surfaced, menage, with lights, a variety of jumps/ white boards & mirrors, tack room, bedding & hay on site with secure electric gates. Small amount of parking for a trailer or small lorry.

Such a lovely yard. The owner is loving and caring and treats all horses that come on the yard as if there are her own. Always happy to help whether that's schooling, livery services or you just need some advice. Absolutely would recommend.

A lovely quiet yard where your horse will want for nothing! Extremely high standard of care, always kept neat and tidy and your horse receives 1 on 1 attention ensuring any specific needs are met. Caroline is also a fabulous instructor having taught me since I was a child and is able to assist with any issues you may be having. I could not recommend this yard highly enough!

Caroline was great I sent my mare for 4 weeks schooling livery sent me updates everyday and informed me of every bit of progress she had made, would not hesitate to send any of my horses there again

Since coming to Childers Retreat my pony and I have come on massively! It's very quiet and private with fantastic facilities! The outdoor school is amazing and usually always available. Turnout is fantastic and brilliant facilities on the yard. It's so good having a BHSAI on site and we've had lessons and schooling which has really helped us. The support on the yard is unrivalled and the costs competitive with the reduced costs during Spring/Summer an added bonus. We love it here.

I have been a livery at the Childers retreat for 3 years. My mare has always been settled and has received the highest standard of care from Caroline who goes above and beyond. Caroline communicates at all times on a group chat. I love that we have our own paddock, this makes managing my 13.2 ponies weight easy . Caroline has built my conference which I had lost at my previous yard . Having regular lessons in a language I actually understand as everything is explained so well . I am now competing at low level dressage with the encouragement of Caroline. The yard is small and quiet with no yard politics making it the perfect horse retreat .

Great place. The owner is an accredited BHS coach who always look after the horses and she is always helpful with everything. I highly recommend this place.
