Swallowfield EC offers an inviting atmosphere, with excellent facilities and experienced staff. Hosting various events on a weekly basis, with something to appeal to everyone, from affiliated/unaffiliated dressage, showjumping, to working equitation. I have worked at Swallowfield’s since 2022, it is a great yard to work on, with a friendly and caring team. We provide top class care with lots of happy horses and owners.

We absolutely love Swallowfields Equestrian Centre! It’s a wonderful place where Evie, our pony, and Ted, our semi-retired racehorse, are so well cared for. The girls have the chance to experience all sorts of activities, and there’s always something exciting happening, whether it’s watching riders jump impressive grids or seeing horses dance across the arena in dressage.One of the things we appreciate most is the fantastic range of onsite clinics and competitions. The girls have so many opportunities to learn, develop their skills, and even compete, all without the stress of travelling. It makes getting involved so much easier and allows them to gain confidence in a familiar environment.And then there’s the hacking! With beautiful routes right on the doorstep, there’s always somewhere lovely to explore, whether it’s a relaxing wander or a more adventurous ride.The facilities are fantastic, the atmosphere is supportive and welcoming, and we genuinely couldn’t imagine a better yard to call home.

I have been a livery at Swallowfield for a number of years and couldn’t recommend them more highly. A perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness creating a lovely atmosphere on the yard. The horses are extremely well looked after, happy and relaxed. Great facilities and a wide range of events on site.

A excellent competition centre. Super relaxed, friendly, professional and always someone on hand to help you. Myself and my daughter have competed here for many, many years, it is always our first choice of venue for clinics, lessons and competitions for all the above reasons. Jo has helped us so much over the years, with lessons, music plans and test riding and also during confidence crisis. Her help has been invaluable to us both over the years, I would without a doubt recommend this yard for livery, lessons & competing.

We moved here in March 2026 with our three geldings and we’re very happy. Jo and the team are super helpful, flexible and the staff are really reliable and have great attention to detail! Very content horses and owners.

Lovely yard meeting everyone’s needs from the professional rider through to grassroots and happy hacker. Staff are always very helpful despite which livery package you opt for. The facilities are well maintained and offer great opportunities for lessons and competitions alike. Lots of off road hacking aswell as nice leisure rides nearby. Easily located with private access, leaving you feel safe and secure. Nothing is too much trouble. Jo welcomes yard viewings.
