This beautiful 30 acre site is a stunning livery and training centre. We offer a professional and experienced team looking after the horses. We provide a professional, high quality environment for horses of all types, ages and size. Our goal is to maintain healthy, happy horses that fulfill the goals and dreams of their riders and owners, whether for fun rides, hacking, hunting, dressage, natural horsemanship or jumping.
Suddene Park Farm is home base to Sarah Wearing, who has an exceptional understanding of how Natural Horsemanship can make a huge difference in enhancing any horse/owner relationship. The Yard offers a small, friendly, well-run livery, conveniently located, yet tucked away in peaceful countryside; ideal for owners seeking a calm, supportive and relaxed yard with great customer service, a caring and highly experienced team to look after your horse, alongside fun socials and great hacking.
Suddene Park Farm provides five star care from our experienced, hard working and professional staff. We offer high standards of horse care with a focus on welfare, reliable routine and experienced common-sense management that treats each horse as an individual and fully takes into account the needs of both horse and owner.
Our facilities include well maintained stabling, all year-round turnout, fab hacking with safe, quiet routes on the farm, some lovely hills for fitness work and a range of local byways, permissive paths and bridleways, plus rides around the local village if roadwork preferred!
Our lovely 20×40 Combi-Ride arena offers training mirrors, poles/jumps as well as a wonderful view! Ridden grass areas also available on request to practice for competitions, and for liberty work a 60ft top quality Preifert Round Pen is available on grass during the summer months.
Suddene Park also spaces for developing special horses, and additional spaces for Rest, Recovery, Injury Rehabilitation & Holiday livery.Personal training and coaching is also available with Sarah at Suddene Park or at your own venue. Problem solving, performance advancement, confidence building and addressing behavioural problems. In hand, ridden and theory sessions and coaching, bespoke to you and your horse at a time and place to suit you. Individual or group sessions welcome.
Environment: We are part of the Southern Streams group, whose members are committed to enriching the landscape and biodiversity in our environment. Some of our upcoming projects include overseeding paddocks with herbal ley mixes for the horses to gain enriched choices of grazing; restoring an historic pond to encourage Great Crested Newt habitation; development of brand new areas of woodland for shade and increased wildlife diversity; plus careful thinning of existing woodland to encourage birds such as the Willow Tit to reinhabit the area.
