South West Equine Livery is a family run business specialised in Retirement Livery and equine Rest & Recuperation (R&R).​We are located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Blackdown Hills, Somerset, with excellent links to the M5 and A303.Our client’s horses often come from competitive and racing backgrounds therefore requiring experienced handling and specialist knowledge.We understand that each horse has their own character and temperament. This is why we are committed to providing tailored palliative care and attention our client’s horses deserve. We have an experienced team that provide the highest standard of service with assistance from our accredited vets, equine dentist and farrier. Our team includes a former UK Eventing Chef d’Equipe, international and national event riders, including a practicing racing stud manager and private competition yard manager.  During Summer months we also offer short term stays for grass livery and full livery whilst people are away on holiday with an additional service to keep horses or ponies fit and in work.
