Shetland Pony Club are the beginner’s experts, offering magical learning to ride experiences for children age 3-10 to enjoy: riding, pony parties and pony share membership. Our trained staff lead our ponies and it is easy for all children to learn to ride with us in the beautiful English countryside. Based at a little ranch hidden away in Cobham, Surrey, we will introduce your children to ponies safely and gently.
We are fully insured and hold a 5-star licence from the local authority, showing that we are committed to the highest standards of equine welfare. We are approved by the Association of British Riding Schools and operate to their standards. Our senior staff are also DBS checked and are trained in first aid and child safeguarding.
Our friendly Shetlands are waiting for you to come and enjoy riding and caring for them. We have miniature Shetlands for small children and our larger Standard Shetlands can be ridden by children up to 10 years of age.
