Yard Details

Quiet farm yard with up to 16 horses run by Jane Johnstone (now retired from showjumping but still riding, schooling & teaching ). We have indoor & outdoor schooling facilities for dressage & jumping. We are in a beautiful area for hacking & have year round turnout either by day or by night. All horses have a stable with rubber mats & wood shavings. our basic service includes feeding, mucking out & turnout.

Fantastic yard with all horses settling very well due to the calm environment. Jane has a wealth of knowledge to offer any level of rider. Horses kept to an excellent standard, and the hacking is perfect.

Yard owner and staff work really hard to ensure all horses and riders are very well looked after. Exceptional off off road hacking accessed by quiet lane with few cars. Plenty of good quality turnout, lessons available in roomy indoor school or outdoors in jumping field in summer. Lots of parking for lorries or trailers, always someone to hack out with. Other riders all welcoming and friendly.

Very friendly yard. Great care and attention given to all horses. Lovely indoor school and fab outdoor paddock with show jumps and cross country jumps. Superb varied, quiet hacking right from the gate with amazing views. Room for lorries / trailers. Delicious farm eggs as an added extra!!!
