Sam Tibbetts is a fully qualified RCVS Registered Equine Veterinary Nurse. She is the owner, the creator and the heartbeat of the Loddington Coppice Equine Healthcare Concept. Sam has a burning desire to keep horses as naturally as possible while in the confines of our domestic environment, allowing them freedom of movement and freedom to express themselves as horses.
While adopting many of the track system lifestyle principles, Sam utilises this to bring cognitive harmony and expression to the horses in her care. Loddington is set up to accommodate a small herd of free moving, free choice livery horses, but it also has a major role as an equine Nursing Care facility, with a strong ethos in the belief that clinical nursing needs the support of a healthy emotional balance, something which Loddington excels in providing.
Space to move, space for solitude and space for friends, Loddington doesn’t just provide “accommodation” for horses. It accommodates them
Connections, Exploration, Confidence, Nature, Emotional expression, Friends and Environment. These are just some of our core values here at Loddington
Many horses can find that various forms of necessary treatment cause them fear, anxiety and stress. At Loddington Sam uses positive reinforcement coupled with TIME! Giving horses time to relax and process what’s needed is a valuable assett when it comes to gaining a successful treatment outcome.
