We are situated in the picturesque village of Ashleworth alongside the river Severn. 2 miles from Hartpury College, with Gloucester 6 miles; Cheltenham 12 miles Tewkesbury 10 miles and easy access to M5 and M42. The area provides a number of local bridleways and is within easy reach of exceptional riding in the Forest of Dean and Malvern Hills. The competition centres of Hartpury College, Mores Farm, Summerhouse Equitation Centre and Abbey Dressage are nearby.
We are a small professionally family run yard with helpful, knowledgeable and friendly advice always to hand. Living on site the yard is supervised 24/7. Equestrian Services are our full time occupation, NOT just a sideline.
All boxes are spacious, airy, well lit and have rubber mats. With 30 acres of grassland we aim to offer all year turn out in small same sex groups. All weather Floodlit 20x40m school (with jumps) and a jumping paddock in the summer. There are two secure tack rooms, 1 with washing machine & fridge. Loo, shower and hot drink facilities are to hand.
We offer a range of Livery Services from DIY to Full Schooling with emphasis on TLC. Within out packages there are many variations and can be adjusted to suite each individual client’s needs. We appreciate no horse or client is the same. Our clients are friendly, sociable with the well-being of their horses paramount and will be only too pleased to give reference. There is always a friendly face to join up with for hacks
All staff are qualified. Hannah is our residential BHSI, BE Accredited Coach, UKCC Level 3, Riding and Road Safety trainer who also holds a BA in Equine Studies and is an NLP Practitioner. She coaches most equine disciplines, from Grass Roots and the first time owner to 3* also preparing clients for BHS and PC Exams. Competing herself for over 20 years she also completes clients horses at BE, BD and BS..
We have on call an excellent vet practice, farrier and a variety of alternative therapy practitioners. We run clinics for all standards with Andrew Bennie Olympic Bronze Medallist, FEI Eventing Judge and on the Ground Jury at Badminton, WEG and The Olympics and Stef Eardley BD Coach, Grand Prix Rider and author of ‘Riding – A Beginners Guide
