Livery is available at BHS-approved Kenn Pier Stables, which has been established for 36 years.
The owner Lynne Bye has over 36 years of experience in yard management/rehabilitation. The yard has been approved by BHS since 2002 and has always received highly commended.

Our yard is small but friendly, and is situated on a 280-acre farm with good facilities and excellent summer and winter grazing.

Whether due to age, injury, or just a well-earned rest, Kenn Pier Stables believes that horses and ponies should continue to receive 5* care and attention during their retirement or recuperation period. Your horse will have 24/7 turnout during the summer and a stable and daily turnout during the cold winter months. Lynne’s experience in horse care, including rehabilitation, means that all ailments and special requirements will be taken care of.

7 years ago I didn’t know absolutely nothing about a horse, the care of a horse, grooming, feed etc but after the guidance of Lynne and her excellent team at Kenn she has totally transformed my horse from a rack a ruin horse into the most beautiful and wonderful loyal horse. I owe all theses special moments I have had with my horse to Lynne and her team.

I came to the yard without any idea of how to look after a horse and was a nervous rider. 7 years on I have a very happy, settled and now, healthy horse and I thoroughly enjoy my hobby and spending tie on the yard with other like minded people! Lyn’s medical knowledge about horses is simply second to none and her willingness to go the extra mile, even out of hours is a real help – this has included collecting me and my horse when we broke down on the M5! A great yard and very happy horse and owner!

My horse has been happy here for 10 years. Lyn, the owner is very experienced and always willing to lend a hand and give advice. Plenty of people around to ride out with, and I have made some lifelong friends whilst stabling here.

My daughter loans a pony at Kenn Pier Stables. Lynne and her staff run a very efficient and friendly yard where my daughter feels safe to enjoy her pony and have fun. The yard is BHS Approved and all the staff are qualified, CRB checked and first aid trained they are all very friendly and always on hand to offer advice, help with any issues and company if you want to go out for a hack. As a parent i feel happy that my daughter can enjoy the yard and knows if she needs help there is always someone there. The facilities are excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone whether they are experienced or just starting out.

I have a pony on loan at kenn pier stables, i am 13 years old and have so much fun down there everyone is so friendly and if i need any help lynne and all the staff are always there to ask. The facilities are great there is an arena with floodlights, and a variety of jumps there is also cross country jumps in the fields.

We have kept my daughter’s ponies at Kenn Pier farm for almost 4 years and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! Lynne has helped us so much as we had no experience of keeping our own pony. Lynne is so calm and professional and the grooms are always qualified or being trained. A definate 5 star establishment!

Kenn Pier is a very professionally run yard. Lynne and the expert Grooms are a wealth of knowledge and are always on hand to help. Lynne has lent us all sorts of tack so that we could find the right equipment for our mares which has saved us such a lot of unnecessary expense. Our horses are very happy on the yard with the individual care they receive.

We have recently bought our first horse and keep her at Kenn Pier on full livery. I can honestly say Lynne Bye and all the team at Kenn Pier are amazing. We felt very welcome from the first day and everyone has been very supportive and cannot do enough to help and advise us with our horse. The facilities are also fantastic at the yard. Having loaned horses at other yards we do have other experiences… highly recommend Kenn Pier.
