Inadown Farm Riding Stables

Inadown Farm Livery Stables is a riding school and livery yard set in rural Hampshire. We are lucky to be both a BHS and ABRS+ approved riding school and livery yard as well as being a pony club centre. We pride ourselves on being able to provide a vast range of facilities to benefit both horse and rider. 

We run a variety of activities as well as private and group lessons. We offer hacking for intermediate riders and above, as well as hacking for children and walk out for disabled riders. We do not run lead rein group lessons, children not competent off the lead will need to go in private lessons until they are able to walk and trot without assistance.

We take riders from ages 4 to 65 plus (depending on physical capabilities), our weight limit is 14 stone (if above please phone to discuss requirements).

Inadown Livery has been running alongside the riding school for over 15 years. Inadown offers a variety of Livery Packages which can be tailored to suit the specific requirements of you and your horse. We offer 7 day livery which includes day to day care of the horse excluding riding, tack cleaning and grooming (this can be added on at extra cost).

We turn out all year round, in summer horses are turned out at night and brought in in the day, in winter out in the day and in at night. Most liveries hack out together and pub rides are very popular during the summer months for adults. With so many public bridleways in the area, the possibilities to explore are endless. Staff members know several routes and will advise you if you are uncertain where to go.

Throughout the year we run a variety of competitions (for clients only) ranging from show jumping, dressage to arena xc.

We are a BHS and ‘Where to train’ centre, offering a variety of training including both riding and care elements. We have a wide range of horses available for training to give candidates the best variety before an exam. Our instructors are qualified and have all gone through their BHS exams so are able to help and inform clients what to expect.
