Set in over 17 acres of land, Forge Stables offers a variety of livery types across two neighbouring sites, Forge Stables and Chi Stables. 

We offer full livery (5 or 7 day). Hay, Haylage, feed, bedding, stable chores included. Short term holiday, schooling and breaking livery also available. We specialise in ponies and are genuinely tiny enough to ride children’s ponies. Limited DIY available upon request.

Owners unable to visit and tend to their horse daily themselves can rest assured that the fully qualified and dedicated staff team offer each horse and pony good quality care and attention. The yards are run to professional standards and are fully insured. Fellow clients are welcoming and friendly. It is a real haven that attracts a variety of horse and pony owners.

With both outdoor and indoor stabling, we also provide a secure tack room, and feed room for clients. Good quality grazing and turn out is provided in pairs and small groups which are carefully managed for compatibility. We also have a hot horse shower and solarium.

We offer our clients a floodlit sand and fibre/ carpet arena with a full set of showjumps, lunge/ all weather turnout pen, and a small number of XC schooling fences. In the summer we have a grass jumping/ schooling areas and a grass riding track.
