Dean Riding Stables is a small, traditionally stone-built, BHS and ABRS+ approved yard tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Dean within Exmoor National Park.

We offer riding instruction for all ages and abilities, from tiny tots to ‘galloping grannies’, with advanced options for more experienced riders.  We have a selection of horses and ponies to suit most riders and we offer our mix ‘n’ match – which offers riding instruction and controlled hacking for small groups of beginner / novice riders wanting to ride and have fun together.  Nervous and novice riders are especially welcome.

With an all-weather surface 60m by 30m and a set of coloured Show Jumps, we offer training and show jumping instruction for competition, taught by our experienced and qualified staff.  We supply up-to-date riding hats and offer progressive tests in riding and stable management.

We are open every day all year round.

We also offer occasional DIY and working livery but have no vacancies at present.
