Crabbick Farm Livery Yard

Crabbick Farm Livery Yard is a friendly yard with owners living on site offering Part (5/7) and Full livery services at very reasonable rates.

The farm is a working farm situated on a quiet lane near Denmead, close to some beautiful hacking.

The stables are Lodden type boxes with automatic watering. The farm extends to 70 acres with secure post and rail fencing Turn out is available in mares and gelding fields and paddocks are rested on a rotational basis (no poo picking needed – owners harrow and top fields as required). Turn out on a rotational basis for stallions and colts is also available in a secure field away from other horses.

There is an outdoor all-weather floodlit schooling arena (approx 25x25m) and a 20x 40m all-weather arena with a full set of show jumps both of these schooling areas are free to use. An indoor school is in the process of construction there will be a charge for the use of this. A Claydon 5 bay covered, horse walker available for use there is no charge for use.. We are in the process of adding to our cross country jumps.

Also available at additional charge is use of an indoor arena 25m x 45m; solarium and hot wash.

Access is through secure electric gates, and the yard is spacious and well lit.

There is a toilet and tea room on site and barn space is allocated for storage of hay, bedding, feed and equipment.

Hay, haylage, straw, shavings and wood pellets are purchased from the yard at very reasonable rates.
