I came to Aston in January this year and to say the least my 3yo can be a little madam. However since moving has become a completely different horse due to the environment she lives in. Due to me having a demanding job i call upon Sophie and her team to help with farrier turnout ect. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The facilities are great and the winter turnout ensure my horse stays sane! Won't be moving yards anytime soon highly reccommended.

I have been at Aston Manor for just over 3 years.
Review by Sharon Davies, 4 years ago
I have been at Aston Manor for just over 3 years. It has been the best move I have made for myself and my horse. From day one we both settled in with no problems. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great facilities for horse and owner. Flexible services available all year round.
Sophie has helped me and my horse in so many ways. She is an excellent instructor who is able to bring the best out in both horse and rider and make it fun.
Aston Manor isn't just a livery yard, it's a whole new family.
5* from me and 5* from my horse.

Review by Paula, 5 years ago
Aston Manor has been home to my horses for probably over 25 years, left for a couple of years thinking the grass was greener but couldn’t wait to get back. It’s relaxed and friendly, the hacking is plentiful and varied using the bridleways or lanes. Indoor school for those cold winter nights and an outdoor with lights. Sophie is very knowledgable and willing to help at the drop of a hat. Don’t intend on leaving this yard again anytime soon!

Review by Mandi, 5 years ago
I moved onto Aston Manor around five years ago now with 3 horses; and throughout my time there I have found the yard manager Sophie Sloan to be very accommodating and knowledgeable. She offers full, assisted or diy liveries and great packages to suit individual needs . The hacking I have found to be brilliant & on quite country lanes; there is always someone to ride with if you don’t want to ride on your own . There are very novice riders, hackers and competitive riders here and there is no bitchiness and back stabbing . Such a lovely bunch of staff and lovely horse owners ..

Review by Heather, 5 years ago
Aston is relaxed, no silly rules, 24/7 turnout in the summer, daily turnout in the winter and yes you really do get winter turnout not just the promise of it. Paddocks are maintained and Sophie is very accommodating if you have a horse prone to laminitis or weight issues. You can buy in your own supplies of hay/bedding and feed if you wish too or these can be supplied. You can have your own vet, farrier and instructor visit the yard. There is always someone to buddy up with for hacking if you need company. I have an hour round trip from home to visit the yard and think it's worth every extra mile. I could easily find livery on my door step but Aston makes my horse happy.

I have kept my horses at Aston Manor for nearly 9 years. The friendly atmosphere is fantastic, it's like being part of a huge family.
The facilities are fantastic and the hacking will meet every possible need from quiet lanes to woodland, off road tracks and gallop fields.
The support is amazing wether your a regular competitor or a happy hack.
I love the flexibility which meets any horses needs from DIY to full care and all the bits in between.
The lady who runs ithe yard, Mrs Sophie Sloan is a very knowledgable equestrian and offers lessons for all abilities for both flat work and jumping. She also schools horses if required and offers endless support with any problem, just ask and she loves to help.
The yard is renowned for iits friendly welcome for all new comers.
I can't rate it highly enough. My time on the yard speaks for itself!

A lovely friendly yard. We spent 5 fantastic years at Aston, only leaving to move our pony home. The yard owner is very knowledgable and more than happy to advise with any issues you may have. She is also a great instructor who takes the time to get to know the rider and horse. Quiet local hacking, and always someone to ride with if you want. Lovely indoor and outdoor arenas. We were on the DIY package, but it’s easy to add services as and when you want. Highly recommend!

Came to Aston Manor in January 2019 with my first horse
Review by Maddie Marquis-Jones, 5 years ago
Came to Aston Manor in January 2019 with my first horse and couldn’t of been happier with our livery yard choice!! All the people at the yard are extremely friendly and helpful, and are happy to help with your horses if you need help. All the horses are extremely well looked after, I’m happy to leave my mare in their hands when me and my mum are away. Aston Manor has amazing facilities, Indoor school, big outdoor arena, wash room with a heated shower, on road and off road hacking, rug room, automatic waters, horse walker, working programmes and good sized stables. The yard has people from happy hackers to regular competition and clinic goers that will let you share their horse box. Me and my mum feel extremely lucky to be at the yard, Sophie is a brilliant woman and knows what she’s doing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
