The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) is launching their fourth successive ‘Summer of Safety’ this month to help highlights the risks around equestrian sports, and the preventative steps that participants can take to stay safe.
The Summer of Safety is a is a three-month campaign running from June – September 2024 and designed to raise awareness of how equestrian products play a huge role in keeping you and your equines as safe as possible, as well as sharing tips and industry guidance about how to stay safe when on the yard, out hacking, or at events during the summer.
As Associate Members of BETA, LiveryList are proud to support the campaign, and to help highlight the issues of health, safety and biosecurity for those on the yard.

- Riding and Road Safety
- Feed Room Safety
BETA is working with its trade members and aligned professionals on a calendar of content including lives and video around these topics.
The campaign’s supported by various equestrian manufacturers and retailers, as well as professional riders and governing bodies, such as the British Horse Society, LiveryList, the Association of British Riding Schools, and the Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund.
