At IG Training Stables, Issy George offers a professional, friendly and supportive livery environment based in Cowden, designed to help both horses and riders thrive. With experience competing up to 4* level 150cm classes and representing GB Youth Junior and Young Rider Teams. I understand the dedication, care and training required to progress within the sport. My aim is to provide a safe and secure environment where young riders can build confidence, develop their skills and grow as riders, while ensuring every horse receives individual attention and high-quality care. The yard offers a 28 x 60m sand and fibre arena with a full set of aluminium show jumps, providing excellent facilities for schooling and training. Horses can enjoy individual or group turnout all year round, as well as access to private fields for hacking. The American-style barn has windows in every stable, creating a bright and welcoming environment, while the secure tack room includes a washing machine for added convenience. Training is available both at home and at shows, with tailored packages available to suit each horse and rider’s individual goals. There are also opportunities to attend national and international shows across Europe every few months, allowing riders to gain valuable experience and progress through the levels. Additional facilities include lorry parking, an on-site equestrian shop, and the reassurance of owners living on site. Whether you are looking for quality livery, structured training, competition support or somewhere for a young rider to develop in a positive and secure environment, IG Training Stables offers a personalised approach focused on helping both horse and rider reach their potential. With great facilities, personal service and a passion for producing confident, capable riders, IG Training Stables is a place where both horses and riders can progress together.
