Healthy Hooves Equine is a small, family-run track-based livery in Weymouth, Dorset, offering Full and Retirement Livery in a calm, horse-centred environment.

Our approach gives horses the freedom to move, forage and socialise as naturally as possible within a carefully managed setting.  Horses live in small herds with access to tracks, ad-lib hay and large comfortable barns which they are free to come and go from as they please, rather than being routinely stabled.  Grazing is carefully managed according to individual needs.

We particularly suit owners looking for an alternative to traditional stabled livery, including those with older horses, horses requiring careful weight or grazing management, and owners who value a more natural way of keeping their horse.

We believe horses thrive when they can move, forage, socialise and rest naturally.  That’s why our horses have access to tracks, multiple forage stations and comfortable shelter, allowing them to choose how they spend their day.

Every horse is treated as an individual.  We take time to understand their routine, health, behaviour and management needs, while encouraging natural movement, friendships and a settled herd life.
