I run a peaceful barn and track system and welcome owners wanting a friendly, relaxed environment for their horse or pony. I have several of my own horses and ponies so there is always long term stability in the herd. I am experienced in rehabilitating laminitis cases and care passionately about animal welfare. Spring’s is suited to retired/non ridden or hacking equines with incredible riding opportunities just outside our gate. Horses must be barefoot to live on the track but support is offered to remove shoes on arrival. The herd is made up of mares and geldings ranging from 10hh to 16hh.
Hay is supplied in small holed nets and tied around the track to keep the herd moving. The track is mostly grass free and a mix of dirt and stone areas. We are very lucky to have mature hedgerows around the track made from willow, hawthorn, Blackthorn, ash, rose and hazel. The track is an ever evolving project with new stone, fencing and hedges always being planned with wildlife and horses being at the forefront of everything I do.
I have zero tolerance for gossip and bullying, this is a supportive and kind yard where everyone should feel comfortable spending time with their horse.
There are noisy dogs on site so you must be a dog lover or able to tolerate them.
