The Association of British Riding Schools, Livery Yards and Equestrian Centres (ABRS+) is delighted to announce that their annual conference, discussing Your Equestrian Business and the Future, will take place at The Unicorn Trust Equestrian Centre, Gloucestershire on Monday 14th October.
With leading, highly regarded speakers, the day will offer a practical insight for riding schools, equestrian centres and livery yards focused on the important issues faced by riding establishments in sustaining their businesses under the weight of increasing costs, client expectations, resourcing challenges, together with social and climate control pressures.
Jane Williams, Chair of the ABRS+ said, “We are delighted and excited at our range of speakers, led by Jodie Hall McAteer from the World Class Programme, Jim Eyre Chair BEF, British Equestrian Federation, and Roly Owers, CEO World Horse Welfare.” Roly Owers said, “A successful future for equestrian business needs the sector to maintain a strong social licence, which requires us to clearly show society how we protect equine welfare, operate sustainably and place equity, diversity and inclusion at the centre of how any equestrian business operates. The ABRS+ Conference provides a great platform to discuss these issues with your peers.”
The event is open to both members and non-members, and will be preceded by a Pre-Conference Dinner on Sunday 13th October at the Bell, Stowe where attendees will be welcomed by ABRS+ Officers, The President Julian Marczak, Jane Williams the Chair, George Baber, Director of Licensing and Centre Operations, and other ABRS Trustees.
