Yard Details

Based in the heart of the south of England, Harmony Equitation and Natural Livery, we provide a range of services. By combining horse behaviour and natural biomechanics we are able to create a horse friendly, ethical training methodology that treats all horses as individuals.

We offer a range of tailored livery packages including Assisted Livery, Retirement Livery, Part and Full Livery (non-stabled). Our packages include use of all of the facilities. We do have stables available for emergencies or extreme weather, or as an add on option for those who would prefer to have a stable included in their package for an extra fee.

Our facilities include a large indoor barn, secure tack room and storage areas,  18m x 33m Indoor arena with lights, a seasonal 65m x 35m enclosed grass jumping arena with show jumps, and a 3km farm ride around the grassland. We are also close to Cotswold water park for lovely rides around the lakes.

The yard offers horse-centric care, giving care and handling sensitive to natural behaviours and horses natural needs. Horses enjoy herd living, allowing them to exhibit their natural behaviours, with access to good quality ad-lib forage at all times. There is an on site instructor (Natural and Classical philosophies) offering help and support if needed.

Natural Livery

We offer Natural Livery services on a track system. “Track Systems” or the original term “Paddock Paradise” was developed by Jaime Jackson based on his observations of wild horses in the Great Basin. Horses in nature live in social groups, moving together from resource to resource, they have a “home range” and follow paths or “tracks” from one place to the next. Track Livery mimics these natural habitats and offer our domestic horses a chance to live like their wild cousins.

Rehabilitation

Our rehabilitation livery service is tailored to your horse’s needs. Feel free to contact us to book a rehabilitation consultation with Jennie to discuss your horse’s needs.

Other Services

Alongside being the owner of Harmony Equitation and Natural Livery, Jennie is a certified ISNCHP trimmer and instructor. Based in Leigh, Cotswolds, Jennie offers her trimming services covering Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. You can book a trim by contacting us.

We also offer regular clinics and training in-hand and on liberty and bridle-less riding. Whether you are new to the methods or have some training established already, there is something for everyone. We also offer Indoor Arena bookings on our website.

For all enquiries, please contact us to arrange a consultation

I would highly recommend Harmony Natural Livery to anyone who is seeking a high quality horse centric’ environment for their horse. Horses here have everything they need, constant companionship, freedom to move and express their normal behaviours and access to appropriate forage 24/7. My horse, who initially came here as a ‘last chance saloon’ with a number of physical and emotional issues has done extremely well. Despite being a cob and and very ‘good doer’ she has lost and then maintained a suitable weight despite the facts she is unridden due to my own health issues due to the movement track living offers.A lovely peaceful non judgemental yard tor humans to be too with good facilities and support when required.

Jennie has helped me take an angry Welsh D from thug to superstar, from ‘I want to sell him’ to national carriage driving championships! Good facilities and holistic support including coaching, nutrition, and expert, highly qualified barefoot trimming.

Our past year at Harmony has been transformational for my horse Flash – he’s gone from being chronically lame & shut down to being sound, happy, engaged & back in work. Jennie and her team have been brilliantly supportive & generous with their extensive knowledge & expertise. I know I never have to worry about Flash whilst he’s in their excellent care.

Fantastic track livery! My horse has never been healthier or happier. It's so lovely to see him thrive. Jennie and the team are fantastic, couldn't reccomend it more!
