LiveryList joins BETA

LiveryList is proud to announce that we are now members of the British Association of Equestrian Trades (BETA), giving our users confirmation of the high standard of services, advertising and guidance to our yards, yard owners and site users.

BETA was formed in 1979 and has grown to be recognised and accepted as the official representative body for the equestrian manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade by Government and leading riding organisations.

They currently have over 800 member companies, covering a wide range of businesses including not only retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers, but also agents, dealers and many service based businesses. All our members are involved in some way with equestrianism, and must undergo a stringent application process, only being offered membership once they have been approved by the BETA council.

BETA also helps develop standards for various products and services throughout the industry, many of which are related and applicable to the livery industry, such as feed, bedding and equipment safety, and will enable us to further develop and expand our Yard Owner Hub in informing our users about these standards and expected best practices for sectors of the industry.
