Virtual Ticket Option Added to the ABRS+ Conference

The Association of British Riding Schools, Livery Yards and Equestrian Centres (ABRS+) is delighted to announce that there will now be an option to virtually attend the annual conference, discussing Your Equestrian Business and the Future, which takes place at The Unicorn Trust Equestrian Centre, Gloucestershire on Monday 14th October.

Jane Williams, Chair of the ABRS+ said, “We would like the ABRS+ Conference to be accessible to all equestrian businesses, so in response to a number of people who have been asking for the ability to attend the conference online, we have added a virtual ticket option. This will allow more businesses to benefit from the information shared on the day from our exciting line up of speakers and topics.”

With leading, highly regarded speakers, the day will offer a practical insight for riding schools, equestrian centres and livery yards focused on the important issues faced in sustaining their businesses under the weight of increasing costs, client expectations, resourcing challenges, together with social and climate control pressures.

Virtual attendees will have access to the conference via Zoom for the morning sessions which include:

  • World Class Programme from a Riding School background with Jodie Hall McAteer.
  • State of the Union with British Equestrian CEO Jim Eyre.
  • The Emerging World of Social Licensing and the Impact on your Business with World Horse Welfare CEO Roly Owers.
  • Council Licensing Updates and the Importance of Bio Security with Ben Mayes MA VetMB MRCVS, Clinical Director Mayes and Scrine Equine Veterinary Practice, and Carolyn Madgwick, Director Legislation and Enforcement The Horse Trust.
  • Enhanced Resources for Attracting and Retaining Clients with ABRS+ Director of Operations and Approvals, George Baber OBE.
  • ABRS+ CIEC – A Growing National Footprint of Coach Training with Jane Williams, ABRS+ Chair.

The event is open to both members and non-members, and will be preceded by a Pre-Conference Dinner on Sunday 13th October at the Bell, Stowe.
