British Horse Council’s Launches Manifesto for the Horse

In advance of the General Election, the British Horse Council have launched a Manifesto for the Horse to help highlight the issued faced in the Equestrian Industry in terms of equine welfare and accessibility amongst other things.

They lay out the facts and figures for the industry, demonstrating what a large sector this covers across the UK in terms of reach of population, value and welfare needs. They are also pointing out the steps that a new government can take to help the equine sector flourish, including business and welfare needs, developing partnerships, and exploring opportunities.

In addition, prior to the election they have been asking doorstep canvassers and representatives of political parties the following questions, to help highlight some of the issues faced by the industry.
